Attracting celebrities, top executives, and VIP guests to the world-class luxury destination (Pebble Beach Resorts) in Northern California, the 2014 Jaguar Land Rover Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance Party was held on Thursday, August 13th, at the exclusive Beach & Tennis Club, overlooking the picturesque Stillwater Cove and famed Pebble Beach Golf Links.
Jaguar Land Rover World Premier at Pebble Beach
This upscale, invite-only event was not only the official kick-off party for the globally-renowned Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance, it also acted as the world premier of three high performance cars from Jaguar Land Rover, including: the new 550hp Range Rover Sport SVR, Jaguar F-TYPE Project 7, and Jaguar Lightweight E-Type luxury sports cars.
Aside from the specially-invited guests and 35 global media members, in attendance at the elegant cocktail party were reality television stars, renowned celebs, media execs, fashionistas, and socialites, including: Comedian, actor, and auto enthusiast, Adam Carolla and his CarCast Co-Host, Matt D’Andria, The Real Housewives of New York cast member and Yummie Tummie creator, Heather Thomson, Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles‘ luxury Realtors and cast members, Josh Altman, Heather Bilyeu, and Matt Altman, and Playboy magazine publishers, Matthew Mastrangelo and John Lumpkin.

The President & CEO of Jaguar Land Rover North America (Joe Eberhardt), welcomed the VIP guests to the event prior to the Director of Design (Ian Callum) and Managing Director of Special Operations (John Edwards) taking the stage to introduce the global premier of the Range Rover Sport SVR and F-TYPE Project 7. Also highlighted at the spectacular event was the stunning, retro-inspired 2014 Lightweight E-Type luxury sports car.

Jaguar and Bremont Launch E-Type Wristwatch

“The first recreation from the Special Operation Jaguar Heritage team, the prototype of the Lightweight E-Type, was hand-built by skilled Jaguar craftsmen in a new facility at Browns Lane in England. Six customer Lightweight E-Type vehicles will be built and each will be assigned one of the remaining chassis numbers originally allocated in 1963 to the intended 18-car ‘Special GT E-Type’ project, of which just 12 were built. In celebration of the recreated Lightweight E-Type vehicles, Jaguar has also furthered its relationship with the Bremont Watch Company. At the event, Jaguar introduced its unique collaboration with the Bremont Watch Company by revealing a revolutionary, new wristwatch (that features the same metal that is used to produce the Jaguar Lightweight E-Type car). This specially-designed wristwatch is being offered to the six customers who purchase the extremely limited edition Lightweight E-type luxury sports cars, of which only 6 hand-built cars are being produced.

Jaguar Land Rover’s Exciting New Collaborations
Over the past several years, Jaguar Land Rover has been making great strides by expanding into new consumer markets and modernizing their brand’s identity, through strategic partnerships (with sexy, envelope-pushing publications, such as Playboy) and out-of-the-box collaborations with notable figures in the entertainment, music, and fashion industries (with actors Gal Godot and Idris Elba, U.K. fashion designer Stella McCartney, and recording artists Wyclef Jean and Emeli Sandé).
