National Today and renowned clean beauty brand, Juice Beauty, have designated today (July 15th) as National Clean Beauty Day to celebrate both the Clean Beauty Movement and Juice Beauty’s 15th Birthday. As shared by the brand, “The clean beauty movement is intended to raise awareness about the high efficacy of organic ingredients products as well as the avoidance of potentially harmful ingredients in cosmetic products.”

To celebrate National Clean Beauty Day, below are 9 of my favorite clean beauty brands that boost your natural beauty. From effective non-toxic skincare and haircare to all-natural makeup products, these are some of the best clean beauty brands and products on the market.

Clean Beauty Brand: Juice Beauty

As one of the first clean beauty brands that I started using years ago, Juice Beauty has always been one of my favorites. I was first introduced to their product line by an Ulta Beauty sales associate, who was very knowledgable about skincare. She recommended that I try their popular Green Apple Peel Exfoliating Mask, which is an effective anti-aging skin care treatment that utilizes fruit acids to slough away dead skin cells. It was designed to minimize fine lines and wrinkles, boost skin cell rejuvenation, and promote healthy, youthful-looking skin.

Since then, I’ve gone on to use and love several of their other products, including the Juice Beauty Blemish Clearing Cleanser and the Juice Beauty Phyto-Pigments Liquid Lip.

Clean Beauty Brand: Burt’s Bees

Another clean beauty brand I’ve loved for years is Burt’s Bees. Their all-natural Lip Butters are truly one of the most hydrating lip balms ever created. Containing emollient-rich shea butter and natural flavors (such as lavender, vanilla, and clove), these sumptuous lip balms deeply moisturize lips and impart a natural shine.

Not only does the company use good-for-you ingredients that are non-toxic and eco-friendly, but they also are a cruelty-free beauty brand. While the “clean beauty” movement has become a growing trend in recent years, Burt’s Bees is renowned as being one of the pioneers in this industry, as they got their start in 1984. Clean Beauty Brand: Biossance

For everyday skincare, over the past few months, I’ve become a devotee of the clean beauty brand called Biossance.

Their Squalane + Antioxidant Cleansing Oil is one of my go-to daily skincare products when I clean my face. It thoroughly removes makeup, dirt, debris, and excess oil, while helping to moisturize and rejuvenate my skin. Because it contains powerful antioxidants (that combat skin-aging free radicals), it helps to promote youthful, healthy-looking skin. In addition to which, it also contains a plant-based squalane, which is a moisturizing ingredient.

A couple of their other clean beauty products that I love are the Squalane + Lactic Acid Resurfacing Night Serum (which I’m calling a “miracle worker”, given the rapid anti-aging results it provides), as well as the Squalane + Phyto-Retinol Serum.

Clean Beauty Brand: Purlisse

Created by Chinese-American actress Jennifer Yen, Purlisse was founded on the concept of Asian beauty wisdom. Jen says, “I created purlisse to share the beauty and spirit of my heritage. As a former actress, I spent hours under heavy makeup and bright lights and my skin paid the price. The quest to restore my complexion and confidence lead me to rediscover my grandmother’s Asian beauty secrets, which healed my skin and inspired me to bring her rituals to women everywhere.”

For protection from the damaging rays of the Sun, I regularly use Purlisse Blue Lotus Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Essential Daily Moisturizer. Suitable for virtually all skin types, from dry to sensitive, this clean beauty product contains good-for-you natural ingredients such as calming White Tea, anti-aging Vitamin E, moisture-boosting algae extract, and anti-inflammatory Blue Lotus. Some of the other Purlisse products I enjoy are the Purlisse Perfect Glow BB Cream and the Purlisse Match Green Tea + Lemon Detoxifying Charcoal Mask.

Clean Beauty Brand: bareMinerals

When it comes to non-toxic cosmetics, one of my favorite clean beauty brands is bareMinerals. From face makeup and setting sprays to lipsticks and beyond, bareMinerals is one of the pioneers in the clean beauty movement. Launched in 1995, the brand prides itself on creating “clean, cruelty-free makeup and skincare products that never compromise on performance. (Their) good-for-skin formulas are free of harsh chemicals and unnecessary additives and full of botanical extracts and natural minerals that help improve skin’s appearance.”

I regularly use bareMinerals mineral bronzers (which add a healthy sun-kissed effect without clogging pores), their skin-enhancing Bounce & Blur Powder Blush, and their glow-boosting Dew Mist Shimmering Setting Spray.

Clean Beauty Brand: Tarte Cosmetics

For eye and lip makeup, one of my other favorite clean beauty brands is Tarte Cosmetics. This cruelty-free product line is made with “high-performance natural” ingredients. Their products are formulated without harmful ingredients such as Parabens, Mineral Oil, Phthalates, Triclosan, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, or Gluten.

One of the best makeup products from them is their long-wear liquid eyeliner (which is waterproof and smudge-proof). In addition to lasting for hours and defining eyes, it’s also super easy to use as it features a felt-tip applicator that makes lining eyes even more precise.

Clean Beauty Brand: Aether Beauty

For eyeshadows, I’ve fallen in love with Aether Beauty. Their non-toxic, vegan, cruelty-free eyeshadow palettes feature beautiful shades that even infuse natural skin-boosting ingredients like crystal gemstones (such as Rose Quartz). These highly-pigmented eyeshadows apply evenly, last for hours, and are easily buildable. You can lightly apply them for a natural day-time look, or build up the color for a more intense look, suitable for nighttime looks.

Clean Beauty Brand: Divaderme Cosmetics

For lush, full lashes, one of my favorite clean beauty products is by Divaderme Cosmetics. Their lash-building fiber-based natural mascara not only makes eyelashes look longer and thicker, but it also helps to nourish lashes (as it contains hydrating argan oil). This mascara is my go-to mascara for everyday wear, as it quickly and easily makes my eyes look bigger and brighter.

Clean Beauty Brand: ArtNaturals

Last, but certainly not least, is a beauty-boosting natural haircare brand called ArtNaturals.

The ArtNaturals Shampoo contains purifying, cleansing, and stimulating natural ingredients such as tea tree oil, aloe vera, seaweed, and peppermint, this deep cleansing shampoo helps to eliminate oils and product build-up.
