If you want to have the look of longer and fuller lashes without having to apply false eyelashes, here are 3 easy ways to get lush lashes. When your lashes look longer and fuller, your eyes look bigger and brighter. The best part is – you can quickly and easily look gorgeous without spending a lot of time doing eye makeup.
To get longer and fuller lashes without false eyelashes, there are only a few makeup products you’ll need (plus 1 essential beauty tool). Here’s the must-have list for longer and fuller lashes:
Before applying any eye makeup, always start with curling your eyelashes. Begin at the roots and gently press down, then move up the lash. Using the eyelash curler, clamp down mid-way up your lashes, and then again at the tips. This will instantly make your lashes look longer and your eyes look more awake.
Step 1: Apply eyeliner (such as my fave liquid liner from TARTE) to the top lashline, starting from the outer corner and drawing inward (tapering the line as you go). Make sure to get as close to the lashes as possible, as the eyeliner will make your lashes look fuller.
Step 2: To make lashes look longer and fuller, apply a lash primer (one of my faves is by LANCÔME) from roots to tips. A lash primer builds-up the thickness and length of your lashes.
Step 3: Starting at the roots, wiggle a fiber mascara (like this natural fiber mascara by Divaderme) back-and-forth and then sweep in an upward motion toward the tips of your lashes. I recommend applying 2 coats (and using your finger or a lash comb to separate the lashes and remove any clumps in between coats). Unlike traditional mascara, fiber mascaras are infused with tiny silk, rayon, or nylon fibers that adhere to your lashes, which plumps them up. By using a fiber mascara, you can easily make your lashes look longer and fuller.
