In celebration of National Hot Tea Month, today’s diet & nutrition guide shares an easy green tea recipe that’s delicious and nutritious.

In today’s guide, learn how to quickly and easily make Baked Salmon and Green Tea Rice with Roasted Asparagus & Mushrooms. This is one of the most flavorful, healthier meals you can make in just 20 minutes.

Baked Salmon and Green Tea Rice with Roasted Asparagus & Mushrooms

An Easy & Delicious Way To Celebrate National Hot Tea Month

Ingredients:

  • 2-3 Bags of Green Tea
  • 1 cup jasmine rice
  • 1¼ cup water
  • 1 lbs. Fresh Salmon
  • ½ cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 bunch of asparagus spears
  • ½ cup sliced toasted almonds
  • ½ cup avocado oil
  • a dash of Himalayan Rock Salt

Instructions:

Step 1: Preheat oven to 400°F. On a lined baking pan, place the salmon, asparagus, and mushrooms. Sprinkle almonds on top of the salmon. Drizzle fish and vegetables with the avocado oil and add a dash of Himalayan rock salt. Bake in the oven for 20-minutes.

Step 2: In a saucepan, bring the water to a boil. Then add the green tea to the pan, allowing to steep for 4-5 minutes. Remove the tea bags when the water turns a golden color (as shown above).

Step 3: Add the rice to the saucepan and bring to a boil again. Then reduce heat and let simmer for 15-minutes. When the rice is fully cooked, remove it from the saucepan by draining it in a strainer.

Step 4: Line a plate with the green tea rice and place the baked fish on top. Serve the roasted veggies on the side.

It’s that easy! In just 20 minutes, you’ll be able to make a great-tasting, healthier meal.
