Crown Brush makeup brush set

Makeup brushes are one of those beauty products that most women fail to realize the importance of. Women tend to spend a considerable amount of money on beauty products like foundation, eye shadow, blush, and bronzer. But when it comes to makeup brushes, more often than not, they end up resorting to the drug-store’s selection of cheap makeup brushes.

I’ve learned the hard way that you get what you pay for. I’m not saying you need to invest a small fortune on your makeup brushes, but you do need to buy quality makeup brushes if you want to ensure your makeup is applied properly.

Crown Brush – Beauty Product Review

Fortunately, companies like Crown Brush produce top quality makeup brushes at affordable prices. “With over 25 years of brush making tradition, Crown Brush has become a leading industry resource for cosmetic and skincare brushes.” In addition, their products are 100% animal cruelty-free; no animals have been harmed or destroyed for the purpose of making their products.

I was recently sent a sample of the Crown Brush HD Makeup Brush Set to test, for the purpose of this review. The kit came in a sleek, compact patent leather-looking carrying case (including a convenient mirror inside). The kit contained six deluxe, professional-quality makeup brushes (that were each labeled, so I knew how they were intended to be used). The makeup brushes in the set included: a Pro Powder Brush, a Tapered Brush, a Deluxe Contour Brush, a Crease Blender Brush, a Chisel Shadow Brush, and a Detail Liner Brush, as well as an Angled Tweezer.

Crown Brush HD Makeup Brush Set

Since these makeup brushes are intended for HD makeup, they were designed to work well High Definition cosmetics, liquids, creams, and powders. What I first noticed about the brushes was the soft, luxurious feel of the high-grade synthentic fiber bristles. Unlike poor quality makeup brushes (which tend to be stiff or scratchy), these brushes feel silky when gliding across your skin. In addition, they don’t shed (whereas many other makeup brushes, including expensive ones, so often do). I noticed that the makeup brushes absorbed the makeup I applied (setting powder, bronzer and blush, and eye shadow). This meant that I didn’t need to repeatedly apply product onto my skin – all it took was one swipe. Talk about a time-saver! That’s not all – these sets are currently on sale for $27.95.

In summation, I was very pleased with the quality and craftsmanship of the Crown Brush makeup brush set, and would definitely recommend this set to anyone who wanted to invest in a set of makeup brushes.
