Jewelry designer Dominique Lucas is known for her extraordinary attention to detail and dreamy, daring collections. British born, Dominique Lucas’ interest in jewelry began in Mexico where she worked alongside local jewelry artisan specialists that she met whilst undertaking her degree in Medicine. Shortly after this, Dominique relocated to Florence, known for its legacy and long tradition of goldsmiths. Dominique began working with the local Italian jewelry designers to hone her skills. During this time, she began creating her own pieces incorporating historical and cultural influences in Victorian symbolism, Italian heritage and Mexico’s reference to mythical creatures. Dominique found inspiration in the Aztec Sun God, along with the death of Cleopatra and the Art Deco period, to create a collection that is rich in color and opulence. These pieces are not meant for wallflowers, so shop Dominique’s collection at Boticca.
