How Does Blupe Work?
By simply downloading this free iPhone app (which connects to your Facebook profile, but doesn’t post on your page), you instantly have access to groups that were created in your area (within a 60 mile radius). From hiking and travel-oriented groups to groups for moms and business-people, there are all types of groups in the system. And, the best part is – you can create your own group.
As shown below, I created a Blupe Group called “The Fabulous Life in Monterey Bay” to connect with other locals on the Monterey Peninsula who want to chat about the most fabulous events, things to do, and places to go in this particular area.
As a group creator, you can invite friends to join your (private) group, by sending them an email invite (from the app directly). Or, if you’re open to meeting new people, share the group link on Twitter, or just wait for new people to find your group in the system and request to join. It’s that easy!
