In today’s edition of the “NYFW Style Series”, learn how Italian designer Chiara Boni transformed the style of her new collection into a dramatic display of vibrant colors and interesting patterns.

Like the wings of a butterfly, Spring always has a way of evoking the idea of transformation and metamorphosis.

Both empowering and uplifting, Chiara Boni’s new collection inspires us to enthusiastically embrace the world around us as we venture into a new season. Complete with kaleidoscopic colors, exotic prints, and western flair, the unique collection captured the attention of the show-goers, eliciting oohs and aahs from the audience.

If you’ve been following Inspirations & Celebrations for a while, you’ve probably seen me photographed in several of her pieces (including a cocktail dress from her line, pictured at the bottom of this post).

From chic jumpsuits and faux-leather leggings to gorgeous gowns and even power suits, ever since discovering the brand at Augustina’s Designer Boutique in Carmel-by-the-Sea, I’ve fallen in love with the line.

For the Spring 2020 Collection, Chiara Boni made a bold statement by incorporating striking color combinations with eye-catching, globally-inspired prints. From animal prints to exotic patterns, every head-turning piece stepped out onto the runway with a sense of playful flamboyance.

From wild African safaris to the heat of the Mexican heartland, for Spring 2020, Chiara Boni imagined the vision of a cosmopolitan urban cowgirl going on a worldwide adventure. This bold, pioneering woman draws inspiration from global influences, resulting in an eccentric and chameleon-like way of dressing.

Whether she’s opting for a floor-grazing gown in a paisley print (paired with cowboy boots and a hat), or she’s going for a Queen of Hearts-inspired look in a black & white striped motif, the Chiara Boni woman dances to the beat of her own drum.

If I there’s one takeaway I had from the Chiara Boni Spring 2020 collection, it’s this… the adventurous woman is one who follows her own heart, leads with her own mind, and passionately pursues a life that inspires her.
