How to Rest Relax and Rejuvenate

As a lifestyle blogger who shares tips, techniques, and advice on Fashion, Health & Beauty, I’ve been the ultimate product junkie – trying everything from expensive cosmeceuticals to organic solutions. Over the course of time playing the health & beauty guinea pig game, I’ve learned that some of the most effective products can be found in your kitchen.

I recently got a great tip from my chiropractor about a truly effective product that relieves stress, detoxifies the body, relaxes the nervous system, and increases serotonin levels: Epsom Salt!

When used in a hot bath or tub (2 cups of Epsom salt for a full bath, or ½ cup of salt in a foot bath), the minerals in Epsom salt dissolve into the water and penetrate the skin instantly, thereby having an almost immediate effect on the body. The salt has a multitude of benefits, ranging from relaxing sore muscles to removing toxins and impurities from the body. So, for less than $10, a container of Epsom salt will leave you feeling rested, rejuvenated, and ready to take on the world.
