In celebration of Monterey Car Week 2024, Range Rover brought British history and modern luxury to Pebble Beach, California. In addition to hosting VIP events and experiences throughout the week at the Range Rover House Pebble Beach, the brand also highlighted notable vehicles that are part of the British Monarchy’s collection.
During the multi-day event, the renowned brand hosted the exclusive Range Rover House at a spectacular contemporary estate overlooking the golf course inside the Del Monte Forest.
Range Rover customers and special guests were invited to immerse themselves in the world of Range Rover, by enjoying live music, an enthralling Sketch Masterclass with a Range Rover Designer, delectable hors d’oeuvres, signature cocktails, personal tea blending, personal color analysis, vehicle personalization consultations, and test-drives around Pebble Beach.
To heighten guests’ ability to relax and unwind in style, they also provided rejuvenating chair massages and wellness-boosting services (presented by HigherDOSE) in a secluded Rejuvenation Lounge. Powered by advanced technologies and designed to ignite your best body and mind, HigherDOSE creates at-home spa systems that tap into your body’s natural biorhythms in ways that either calm or stimulate you.
Throughout the event, they showcased a variety of best-selling products including their Go Mat, which produces a therapeutic far infrared heat (to improve healing, increase circulation, and reduce inflammation), and PEMF (pulsed electromagnetic magnetic frequency), which produces a grounding frequency similar to putting your feet on the Earth.
Aside from the entertainment and immersive experiences at the Range Rover House, one of the highlights was getting an exclusive preview of the new, limited-edition 2024 Range Rover SV Carmel Edition.
Theresa Choh-Lee (US Brand Director for Range Rover) states, “The debut of the third Range Rover SV Carmel Edition at Range Rover House is the ultimate expression of Range Rover luxury and exclusivity we can share with our loyal clients. This curated edition illustrates the refinement and limitless design opportunities provided by SV Bespoke.”
As the brand explains, “The Range Rover SV Carmel Edition draws inspiration from the picturesque landscape of lush woodlands and ocean cliffs along the breathtaking coastal roads surrounding Carmel, CA.
Range Rover’s SV Bespoke personalization team carefully curated a unique combination of design elements, including a Bespoke Green Satin exterior, an interior featuring a striking combination of Sequoia Green and Perlino Aniline leather seating with contrast stitching, embroidery on the seats and cushions, dark linear wenge veneers and black ceramic dials, creating a truly unique and luxurious cabin.
Fully reclinable seats provide optimal rear-seat comfort, complemented by a powered club table, deployable cupholders, and a refrigerated compartment complete with SV-etched glassware. Custom details include black metal badging accented with 24k gold and SV Bespoke branded tread plates with ‘Carmel Edition’.” The Range Rover SV Carmel Edition is only available in 17 units, making it extremely exclusive.”
The company also shared that they have pledged to donate $5,000 to the Del Monte Forest Conservancy for each Range Rover SV Carmel Edition sold, in support of environmental conservation. This donation will benefit the organization’s efforts to preserve and manage 700+ acres of verdant forest within the Pebble Beach area, protecting its natural landscape.
In addition to the Range Rover House, Range Rover also showcased an unmatched curation of 10 Land Rover Classic vehicles of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, as these prestigious vehicles graced the show field of the 2024 Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance and also participated in the Tour d’Elegance (which is an annual spectacle featuring over 100 vintage vehicles driving in a caravan throughout the scenic roads of Pebble Beach and Carmel, California).
Aside from the fact that this was the first time that these vehicles had been exhibited outside of the UK, what also made it special for spectators was that the vehicles were driven by the Monarchy’s designated team members.
Lennard Hoornik (Chief Commercial Officer for JLR) said, “We take pride in our long‑standing royal connections, which go back to the very beginning of our business. Sharing this unique collection of vehicles with passionate enthusiasts at a globally renowned event such as Pebble Beach® demonstrates our appreciation for this unique relationship, which extends to this day.”
Over the past decade, JLR brands have been hosting a variety of engaging and upscale events during Monterey Car Week, as the auto extravaganza acts as the ideal platform for the company to showcase its luxurious automobiles while providing valued customers with exclusive opportunities to become further acquainted with both the brand, its rich history, and the team that’s driving this heritage brand into the future.
