Olay Whip is being called the “Unicorn of Moisturizers”, as it was specifically developed with winter skin problems in mind. Dry, chapped, cracking skin is often the biggest complaint that women share about their skin during cold winter months. To remedy these problems, Olay has created a “light as air” moisturizer called Olay Whip.

Even though I live in California, I still experience skin changes during this time of the year – often resulting in dry skin that looks lackluster, dull, and a bit more “weathered”. Forced central heating, blustery weather, colder temperatures, and a lack of humidity in the air all lead to drier skin. When skin is dry, wrinkles and fine lines become more pronounced.

Over the years I’ve tried all kinds of skincare treatments, from creams and lotions to serums and masks. But the biggest problem I find is that these so-called winter skin treatments are often heavy and thick, which ends up clogging pores and causing breakouts. Plus, these winter skin treatments are notorious for leaving a slick residue on my skin, which makes me feel like I’m wearing a mask all day.

That’s why I was excited to learn that Olay has created a new kind of winter skin solution called Olay Whip. This “light as air” moisturizer was developed to provide powerful, anti-aging results without the heaviness. The formula was designed to be released immediately upon contact with skin. This enables the moisturizer to deeply penetrate the skin, without leaving a residue or greasy film on top of the skin (like many moisturizers do).

How Does Olay Whip Actually Work?

  • Provides powerful hydration for winter skin, leaving a smooth matte finish that feels “light as air”.
  • Active Rush Technology™ “holds and quickly releases 1000x its weight in hydration and active ingredients”.
  • Anti-Aging Ingredients including Niacinamide: To infuse the skin with anti-oxidants and anti-inflammatory effects; and Peptides: To increase the skin’s natural collagen production, which is responsible for plumping skin (and minimizing the appearance of fine lines).
  • Hydrating Ingredients including moisturizing agents like Glycerin, Panthenol and Sodium Hyaluronate.

The first time I used Olay Whip, I immediately noticed how lightweight and airy the product felt as I applied it to my skin. My skin felt instantly hydrated without looking greasy or shiny. It even acted as a great base for my foundation, as it gave my skin a smoother appearance, allowing my face makeup to glide on easily.

Over the next several weeks, I’ll be continuing to use Olay Whip as part of my winter skincare regimen. Stay tuned as I share more updates on social media about my results from using Olay Whip.

Relative to applying skincare, start with the lightest formula (such as a serum), then layer on top heavier formulas (ex. next, a moisturizer, then sunscreen).

Their anti-aging line is designed to help improve the texture and appearance of aging skin. In addition to topical products, you might consider visiting a dermatologist to get a consultation about laser skincare as well, since that is often combined with anti-aging skincare treatments. To learn more about laser treatments, search for “laser skincare” on the search bar above.
