On Tuesday, August 15th (10am – 5pm) head to the Concours on the Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Concours on the Avenue features a bevy of beautiful cars on display throughout a walkable 16 blocks in downtown Carmel-by-the-Sea, highlighting more than 175 rare collector vehicles. This free event is open to the public and is a great way to get Monterey Car Week off to a great start.

On Wednesday, August 16th, plan to have a full-day of car events, starting with the Carmel Mission Classic (10am-4pm) at the Carmel Mission. Then get your fill of little cars at The Little Car Show in Pacific Grove (12pm-5pm). To top off the day, head over to the Monterey Jet Center for the exclusive McCall’s Motorworks Revival (5pm-10pm), which is one of the fanciest parties in town.

On Thursday, August 17th, the Pebble Beach Tour d’Elegance takes the historic automobiles out for a spin around the Monterey Peninsula. As SeeMonterey.com says, “The tour will depart Pebble Beach at 9am and eventually end at Ocean Avenue in Carmel-by-the-Sea. The cars will be displayed from noon to 2pm on Ocean Avenue, and then will return to Pebble Beach. For some of these vehicles, successful completion of the Tour will be their key to a win in Sunday’s Concours.”

On Friday, August 18th, there are two must-attend events that are going on. The first is the Legends of the Autobahn (8am-3pm) at the Nicklaus Club in Monterey. If you’re a fan of BMW, Audi, or Mercedes-Benz, then you’ll need to drive out to this public event to check out these luxury automobiles on display.

Head out to sunny Carmel Valley for The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering (10am-4pm) at Quail Lodge & Golf Club. This exclusive, sold-out event is one of the premier events during Monterey Car Week. In addition to an assortment of food and drinks, you’ll enjoy a spectacle of Ferraris, Supercars, Motorcycles, and other superb vehicles.

On Saturday, August 19th, head out to Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca in Monterey for the Rolex Motorsports Gathering, an exhilarating weekend-long race featuring historic automobiles driven by their owners.

If you love Ferraris, make sure to visit The Barnyard in Carmel for the 20th Anniversary Ferrari Event (4-7pm). This event will feature food, beverages, live music, and an unbelievable display of beautiful Ferraris.

Last, but certainly not least – on Sunday, August 20th, head down to the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links for the world-class Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Featuring 200 of the most spectacular historic automobiles from all over the globe, this prestigious auto show is often attended by celebrities, billionaires, and social elite.
