With this beautiful Summer weather, this is an ideal time of year to entertain at home. To help you and your guests stay cool when it’s warm outside, serve up some refreshing Iced Coffee drinks, complemented by an assortment of sweet treats. The best way to do this is to create a DIY Iced Coffee Bar, which is easier than ever with International Delight Iced Coffee.

Here’s how to create a DIY Iced Coffee Bar (featuring two delicious beverages, a Vanilla Martini and a Chocolate Vanilla Blended Coffee) that your party guests will love.

DIY Iced Coffee Bar

Set-up a small table either inside or outside. To quickly dress-up a table, simply add a pretty tablecloth or table runner on top of the table. This not only adds visual interest, it also conceals any damaged or worn spots if your table is old or in an imperfect condition.

You can easily create a sign for your DIY Iced Coffee Bar featuring a fun slogan such as “Keep Cool and Drink Iced Coffee”, or any other type of message on it (to indicate that this area is the DIY Iced Coffee Bar). Just use a desktop publishing software program and simply print your sign on an 8.5×11″ sized piece of paper. To display the sign, put it in an 11×14″ picture frame (that already has a pre-matted border), and perch it up onto a small tabletop easel. Next to the sign, add a vase filled with flowers for added ambiance and esthetic appeal.

Since people have different preferences relative to the desserts they like, it’s best to offer a variety of sweet treats, ranging from chocolate dipped cookies to sugar cookies. Display the assortment of goodies on a serving platter, placed in front of the beverages (to make it easy for your guests to grab). Definitely remember to provide cocktail napkins on the DIY Iced Coffee Bar table for your guests as well.

In addition to brewing up a pot of coffee (for those who prefer hot beverages, or to make their own coffee drink), it’s ideal to offer guests a couple of pre-made options, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, such as a Vanilla Martini and Chocolate Vanilla Blended Coffee. Here’s how to easily whip up these fabulous, tasty beverages.

Vanilla Martini Recipe:

Ingredients for each serving:

2 oz. International Delight Vanilla Iced Coffee

1 oz. Vodka

2-4 Ice Cubes

Directions:

Shake or stir above ingredients with ice. Strain into a martini glass. Serve immediately.

Chocolate Vanilla Blended Coffee:

Ingredients for each serving:

2 Tbsp. Hot Chocolate Mix (powder)

3/4 Cup International Delight Vanilla Iced Coffee

1 1/2 Cups Ice

Whipped Cream

Directions:

Stir hot chocolate mix into International Delight Vanilla Iced Coffee to dissolve. Transfer mixture to blender, add ice and blend. Pour into a glass and top with whipped cream. Serve immediately.
