As a 2012 Glambassador for Glamour Magazine, a fun part of my role entails Product Reviews. Being in the middle of summer, a lot of places around the world have recently been hitting scorching, triple digit temperatures, making the idea of indulging in a decadent ice cream sound divine… but not for those of us who want to look good in our swimsuits. So, it’s perfect timing to find out about a dessert that lets you “have your ice cream and eat it too”.
Over the weekend, I tried the Skinny Cow Cookies ‘n Cream Ice Cream Sandwich, which is a low-fat vanilla ice cream (with chocolatey bits) wedged inside two chocolate wafer cookies. The tasty ice cream sandwich is only 160 calories, and has 2 grams of fat and 3 grams of fiber. The convenient individual packaging of these little treats makes it easy to take to the pool or the beach. Now that you know about the low-cal Skinny Cow snacks, you can add some decadence to your life without sacrificing looking good and staying fit.
On a side note, I recently took some time off from blogging to celebrate my birthday (on July 4th!) and to enjoy summer activities with friends, family, and loved ones. Now that I’ve had some much needed rest and relaxation, I’m back to blogging with a renewed sense of enthusiasm!
