On Sunday, June 3rd, the glitz and glamour of the 2012 Miss USA Pageant was in full effect at Planet Hollywood casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. Wearing colorful ball gowns and sparkly sequined dresses, pageant queens from all across America strutted their stuff on stage, accompanied by a heart-pumping, musical performance from hit recording artist, Akon. The winner of the pageant was Miss Rhode Island Olivia Culpo, who received her crown wearing a berry-hued goddess-like evening gown. In keeping with the hot summer nights of Las Vegas, the beauty pageant contestants opted for bright and vibrant dresses.
