Audi marked a historic milestone as the brand officially entered Formula 1 at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne. The launch signals a bold new chapter for the German automaker, aligning its motorsport ambitions with a broader push toward electrified performance. At Albert Park Circuit, drivers Nico Hülkenberg and Gabriel Bortoleto unveiled the new Audi RS 5, the first RS model to feature a hybrid powertrain, reflecting the next generation of Formula 1 technology where electric systems account for nearly half of total power output.

The celebration extended beyond the racetrack. Audi brought a piece of its legendary racing heritage to Melbourne with the crocodile-liveried Audi R8 that famously won the “Race of a Thousand Years” in Adelaide in 2000. Former Le Mans champion Allan McNish returned to the driver’s seat for the event, connecting Audi’s storied motorsport past with its Formula 1 ambitions for the future.

“The start of our first Formula 1 season marks the beginning of a new chapter for Audi – both on and off the track,” said Gernot Döllner, CEO of AUDI AG. “In this sport, where every millisecond counts, efficiency is crucial. Focused, precise teamwork makes us strong.”

At the Miami International Autodrome, Bugatti hosted an extraordinary private program for owners of the Bolide, the brand’s most extreme track-focused hypercar. The “Feeling The Track” experience placed drivers in a motorsport-style environment designed to help them master both the circuit and the Bolide’s extraordinary capabilities.

Participants began with technical briefings and training sessions in McLaren 750S supercars before graduating to the Bolide itself. With extreme aerodynamic downforce, racing slicks, and the thunderous W16 engine at its core, the hypercar delivered a driving experience engineered exclusively for the track. Personal instructors, data engineers, and dedicated mechanical teams supported each driver, mirroring the structure of a professional racing program.

Lastly, Bentley brought its sold-out Supersports model to the American West for a dramatic debut at the inaugural FAT Ice Race in Big Sky, Montana. The event showcased the brand’s performance capabilities in a unique setting, with professional racing driver Lia Block piloting the Supersports across the frozen circuit on studded tires.

The showcase also highlighted Bentley’s balance of heritage craftsmanship and forward-looking engineering. Alongside the Supersports, the Speed Six Continuation Series from Mulliner demonstrated the brand’s commitment to preserving historic racing icons, while the newly revealed Bentayga X Concept hinted at a more rugged, off-road-focused vision for Bentley’s luxury SUV.

Together, the vehicles illustrated Bentley’s ability to move seamlessly between tradition and innovation. From meticulously recreated pre-war race cars to experimental off-road concepts, the brand continues to redefine what modern luxury performance can look like across every terrain.
