Stationaery in Carmel-by-the-Sea
Tucked away in a picturesque courtyard surrounded by lush gardens, art galleries and boutiques lies a hidden gem called Stationaery. Here you’ll discover an indoor/outdoor restaurant that boasts gourmet brunch dishes (like French cast-iron pancakes topped with seasonal fruit, lemon verbena, granola, maple syrup, and Crème Fraiche) and Insta-worthy lattés that you’ll savor with every sip.
Mission Ranch Restaurant in Carmel
Whether you’re looking out at the dreamy view (which is complete with grazing sheep in a pastoral meadow with a peek of the ocean in the far distance) or you come for the mouthwatering buffet brunch on Sundays, Mission Ranch Restaurant in Carmel, California is truly one of the most charming brunch spots on the Monterey Peninsula. Owned by legendary actor & director Clint Eastwood, this iconic restaurant is one of my favorite places to dine (for so many reasons). The Sunday brunches offer everything from savory dishes like eggs and Salmon to sweet treats (such as delectable desserts and French Toast). Be sure to arrive early, as it gets really busy there!
Edgar’s at Quail Lodge in Carmel
From healthy dishes made with organic food to relaxing views of the golf course just beyond, Edgar’s at Quail Lodge & Golf Club in Carmel is always a great brunch spot to visit. Surrounded by rolling hills and drenched in sunshine, this popular hotel restaurant makes you feel like you’re on vacation (even if you live here). A few of my favorite dishes include the Farmer’s Market Salad, the Tuna Spinach Wrap with vegetables, and the Club Sandwich. Not to mention – the indoor/outdoor restaurant is dog-friendly too, so bring your furry friend along if you want!
Crema in Pacific Grove
Located within an enchanting Victorian home in Pacific Grove lies a coffee shop called Crema that goes above and beyond a cup of joe. Here’s you’ll discover an array of tantalizing brunch drinks and dishes, from their award-winning bloody mary to decadent croissant breakfast sandwiches. Plus, for those “in-the-know”, they also offer a “Secret Menu” which you can order off of. Just mention to your waiter that Inspirations & Celebrations told you about the “Secret Menu” – because it’s one you won’t want to miss (let’s just say it includes bacon-cheddar biscuits, Chili Verde breakfast burritos, and other must-try dishes).
The Forge Restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea
Fresh ingredients, a magical setting that features cozy firepits and blooming flowers, and a warm atmosphere make The Forge restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea one of the most charming brunch spots on the Monterey Peninsula. From soups and salads to burgers, sandwiches, and even pizzas – they offer a range of delicious American fare options. Plus, they even have a dog menu, as they’re renowned by dog lovers as being a great pet-friendly place to go.
Etats-Unis in Carmel-by-the-Sea
This quintessential Carmel-by-the-Sea eatery is always a good idea for brunch. Offering both indoor and outdoor seating, this French-American bistro offers a range of incredible dishes, such as Ratatouille Benedict, Croque Monsieur, delicious crepes, and an array of different omelets. Etats-Unis has quickly gained a reputation amongst locals and tourists as one of the most enchanting places to dine here.

The Juice Bar and Cafe at The Spa in Pebble Beach

Anton & Michel in Carmel-by-the-Sea
Last, but certainly not least, is one of the most charming brunch spots on the Monterey Peninsula – Anton & Michel restaurant in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Tucked away in a romantic courtyard with dancing fountains and blooming flowers, this indoor/outdoor restaurant offers an exceptional atmosphere to dine. From gourmet dishes like Spring Shrimp Rolls, Coconut Crusted Crab Cakes, and Duck Pâté & Brie to exquisite desserts (such as Caramel & Sea Salt Crème Brulée and Lemon Tarte), there’s no shortage of incredible dishes to try here.
