In today’s hairstyle tutorial, Lili shows you how to create romantic loose curls and glossy strands.
As Good Housekeeping Beauty Director April Franzin states, “The spotlight is on shiny, healthy-looking hair this season”, which is a perfect compliment to romantic loose curls. Because lustrous locks are always on-trend, in today’s hairstyle guide learn tips on how to boost shine and de-frizz strands.
Fall 2018 Hairstyle Tutorial: Romantic Loose Curls
Step 1: Brush out hair, making sure it’s free of tangles. Prepare hair by using a thermal protection, this will help protect your hair from any heat damage.
Step 2: Starting at the nape, barrel curl hair, turning curls away from your face. If hair has a little texture pass curling iron through the section before curling, as this will help smooth out hair.
Step 3: Work your way to the top of the crown, spray sections using a light hold hairspray.
Step 4: Part sections diagonal back, this will help to keep curls defined and keep them becoming one big curl. Continue curling away from the face.
Step 5: Once the hair is curled, allow it to cool. This will help curls set and hold their shape longer.
Step 6: Comb through with a wide comb, this makes for a softer wave look.
Step 7: Finish with a little hairspray and you are done!
