In addition, the line says that “the 3-step system visibly repairs two years of damage for luscious, healthy-looking hair.”

Plus, the Suave Professionals Coconut Oil Infusion Damage Repair Oil Treatment sounded like a miracle-worker, as it helps to visibly smooth damaged cuticles, minimize fly-aways, and impart a glossy finish to the hair. They say that this line is “Salon proven to repair damage as well as Ojon Damage Reverse.”

By shopping for these products at Walmart, I knew I was getting the best value for my money.

Step 1: Wash and cleanse your hair with the Suave Professionals Coconut Oil Infusion Damage Repair Shampoo and Coconut Oil Infusion Damage Repair Conditioner.

Step 2: Dispense 2-3 pumps of the Damage Repair Oil Treatment into your hand, massaging it into your damp hair (focusing on the ends).

Step 3: Blow-dry your hair as usual, and then curl your hair with a 1″ curling iron (to create soft tendrils).

Step 4: Loosely pull the top half of your hair back (away from your face) into a half-up, half-down style. Lightly comb back the top of your hair (to ensure no visible bumps are showing). Pin this hair to the back of your head using bobby pins.

This step should only require about 2 or 3 bobby pins, depending on the thickness of your hair. By now, your hair should resemble the style featured in the above photo.

Step 5: Using the additional bobby pins, start securing random sections of hair to your head with a bobby pin. This should be done casually and haphazardly, since the overall look is supposed to be relaxed and effortless. It’s ok if a few tendrils fall out, as it adds to the romantic effect of the hairstyle.

Continue pinning up the lower sections of hair until it’s virtually all swept into an updo and off your back.

Step 6: For added sensuality and romantic appeal, pull a few face-framing tendrils out. You can use your finger to gently twirl the tendril, to make it a more finished spiral curl.

Optional: If you want to “set” your hairstyle, you can use a lightweight hairspray all over your head.
