Because she believes that women should look and feel gorgeous all the time, she recently collaborated with Destination Maternity to launch the Von Follies by Dita Von Teese Maternity Lingerie Collection.

From sensual lace to playful polka dot prints, the Von Follies by Dita Von Teese Maternity Lingerie Collection was definitely created for sexy mamas. The limited edition, capsule collection of pretty bras (designed for nursing) and underwear (which includes built-in shape-wear for extra support) is undoubtedly beautiful, and was designed to make new mothers feel sexy.

Featuring a wide range of sizes (from 34B to 46F), the Dita Von Teese Maternity Lingerie Collection is affordably priced between $30-$55 per piece, and is now available for purchase at Destination Maternity.

In an announcement released from Destination Maternity, Dita Von Teese explains her mission behind the collaboration: “I believe that lingerie can and should be glamorous and functional. Elegant underpinnings are a simple way to create everyday moments of luxury and beauty, and why wouldn’t a new mother enjoy beautiful lingerie, too?”

While Dita Von Teese is not currently a mother, her desire to help new moms everywhere comes from the realization that women (no matter what stage in life they are in) want to feel beautiful. As women’s bodies undergo transformations during pregnancy and childbirth, they often times lose that sense of self-confidence.

Although some new mothers aren’t thinking about looking sexy during this time period, there still are countless other women who do care – and that’s who this maternity lingerie line was designed for.
