With panoramic ocean views and a legacy unlike any other, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am has become one of golf’s most iconic events, and it’s not going anywhere. The PGA TOUR, Monterey Peninsula Foundation, and Pebble Beach Company announced that AT&T has extended its title sponsorship in a new multi-year agreement, marking over four decades of partnership.
AT&T first became a sponsor in 1986, making it the PGA TOUR’s longest-running continuous title sponsorship. The 2025 tournament, won by Rory McIlroy (pictured below), was AT&T’s 40th consecutive year, and the 2026 edition, set for February 12–15, will be the event’s 80th playing.
“Pebble Beach holds a special place in the hearts of fans and players alike,” said PGA TOUR Commissioner Jay Monahan. “AT&T has been an incredible partner in helping this event thrive.”
Hosted at the world-renowned Pebble Beach Golf Links and Spyglass Hill, the Pro-Am is a Signature Event on the TOUR schedule, drawing elite players, notable people, and lifestyle enthusiasts for four days of golf and enjoyment on California’s Monterey Peninsula. But it’s not just about the sport; it’s also about purpose.
“For four decades, this tournament has blended golf’s beauty with a deeper mission,” said AT&T CEO John Stankey. “We’re proud to keep creating unforgettable moments while giving back to the communities we serve.”
Each year, the event raises millions for over 200 local nonprofits through the Monterey Peninsula Foundation, with lifetime charitable giving exceeding $250 million. In the 2024–25 season alone, nearly $18 million was awarded. AT&T’s “Birdies for Students” initiative also converts birdies on the 17th hole into donations supporting digital access for students.
“The Pro-Am is the heart of our charitable giving,” said Steve John, CEO of the Foundation. “AT&T’s support makes it all possible.”
Pebble Beach Company CEO David Stivers echoed the sentiment, calling the event “one of the most unique and meaningful tournaments on the PGA TOUR.”
With global broadcast coverage via CBS, GOLF Channel, ESPN+, and more, and star power from ambassadors like Jordan Spieth and Maverick McNealy, the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am continues to set the standard for golf with purpose, elegance, and impact.
