La Bistecca – Osteria Fiorentina: Indulge in a mouthwatering lunch at La Bistecca – Osteria Fiorentina. This renowned restaurant (which received the 2022 Travelers Choice Award from Tripadvisor) specializes in the famous Florentine T-bone steak, cooked to perfection and served with traditional sides and a selection of local wines.

However, if you prefer to eat plant-based meals, then I highly recommend ordering the Caprese Salad with Buffalo Mozzarella cheese and fresh basil, grilled vegetables, and a side of sauteed spinach.

Enjoy the elegant ambiance, impeccable service, and a gourmet menu featuring Tuscan specialties and international dishes. Their daily specials feature seasonal ingredients cooked to perfection. For example, one of my favorite dishes was Tuscan carrots flavored with thyme, burrata cheese, toasted hazelnuts, and balsamic vinaigrette. I also recommend trying the Baked salmon, which is garnished with beetroot, cucumber, and ginger lemon mayonnaise.

What to Wear in Florence Italy:

If you’re visiting Florence in Summer, I recommend packing lightweight dresses, flowy blouses, skirts, and shorts. Bring a jacket (for the evening, as it gets chillier when the sun goes down). A tote bag (that zips) is a must-have, especially if you’re bringing travel essentials like a camera and passport.

And, last but certainly not least, pack comfortable walking shoes since the streets are cobblestones. I recommend flat sandals, sneakers, and wedges (if you want added height). But, leave the stilettos or hard-to-walk-in shoes at home.
