From classic eyeliner and lush lashes to lightly contoured skin and flushed cheeks, this easy-to-follow Fall 2015 makeup tutorial shows how to look like a classic natural beauty using Walgreens beauty products.
With New York Fashion Week kicking off Fashion Month, beauty editors and bloggers from New York and Los Angeles to London and Paris are getting excited about the upcoming makeup trends that are currently being showcased at the runway shows.
Now that we’re officially moving into a new season, it’s a great time to update your everyday look by incorporating the most wearable Fall 2015 makeup trends into your daily regimen. While runway looks are meant to be dramatic and showstopping, these eye-catching makeup trends can be toned down for real life.
Fall 2015 Makeup Tutorial With Walgreens Beauty Products
To show you how to create looks inspired by the runway (but suitable for everyday occasions), this Inspirations & Celebrations Fall 2015 Makeup Tutorial teaches you how to look like a classic natural beauty by enhancing your best features.
In collaboration with Walgreens Beauty, in just a few simple steps (and with seven affordable beauty products) you can easily create Fall’s hottest makeup looks. Featured here are two current Fall 2015 makeup trends (modified for everyday wear), including lightly winged eyeliner and subtly sculpted, flushed cheeks.
To protect and prime your freshly cleansed skin, lightly apply the No7 Protect & Perfect Advanced Serum to your face. This hypo-allergenic, anti-aging treatment renews and regenerates skin cells, giving you a healthy glow. Allow about 90 seconds for the serum to penetrate your skin thoroughly. This product helps to prime your skin for makeup application.
To create the appearance of dewy, radiant skin, lightly apply a few drops of the Botanics All Bright Radiance Balm to your face. This miracle-working beauty product helps to impart a brighter, fresher look to your skin, making it appear younger and healthier.
The key to showcasing your best facial features is to play with shadows and highlights by using basic makeup contouring techniques. Rather than trying to re-create Kim Kardashian’s chiseled face (which requires a multi-step makeup application process), opt for a simple two-step highlight & contour process instead.
Lightly dust your cheekbones, jawline, the tip of your nose, and around your hairline with the No7 Perfectly Bronzed Mosaic Bronzer. The rose-tinted bronze hue instantly imparts a natural warmth to your skin; it also helps to define your bone structure (making your face look thinner and more sculpted).
To draw attention upward toward your eyes (and to give you the appearance of an eye-lift), lightly dab dots along the top of your cheekbones, inner corners of your eyes, and along your browbone using the Boots Botanics Radiance Highlighter Pen. Using your ring finger, gently blend the highlighter into your skin until completely diffused.
This product illuminates the skin, reflecting light in the areas you want to highlight.
To define and accentuate your eyes, using the Circa Vivid Vinyl Eye Lining Fluid, draw a thin line on your upper eyelid, from the center of your eyes outward, gradually thickening the line as it goes toward the outer corners of your eyes. For heightened impact, you can gently flick the line upward at the outer corner, to give it a bit of a cat-eye appearance.
Infused with pearlescent micro-glitter, this long-wearing liquid eyeliner glides on easily and lasts for hours, drawing attention to your eyes without ever looking unnatural or over-the-top.
For lush lashes, sweep on two coats of No7 Lash Impact Mascara. This volume-boosting, clump-resistant mascara thickens and lengthens eyelashes.
Gorgeous eyelashes always make your eyes “pop” giving you a sexy, smoldering look. If there’s one must-have beauty product to put on before you leave the house, it’s mascara.
As you can see, with a few convenient beauty products from Walgreens and a couple simple steps, you can be a classic natural beauty while still incorporating the latest makeup trends into your everyday look.
The Walgreens beauty department offers a large assortment of trendy, budget-friendly beauty products and cosmetics that enhance and embellish your natural beauty.
