Banana Republic Issa Lookbook

The Banana Republic Issa London Collection is debuting online and in select Banana Republic retail stores on August 8th. Banana Republic exclaims that this limited-edition collection is “fit for a queen, but made for you”.

Banana Republic Issa London Collection

When the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, first donned the (now famous) blue wrap-style dress by Issa London for the Royal Engagement photo, she not only made headlines, she single-handedly launched the apparel line to superstardom. Since that time, Issa London has become synonymous with classic designs, figure-flaunting silhouettes, and timeless prints. So it only makes sense that Issa London would be collaborating with the household brand, Banana Republic, for a special collection.

From flattering wrap dresses (including one blue frock that closely resembles the iconic dress that the Princess wore), to bold patterned sheaths, the 40-piece Banana Republic Issa London Collection is a modern and fresh take on traditional, safari-inspired looks. Featuring romantic colors and elegant draping, the exclusive collection easily transitions from summer into fall. Exotic prints and dramatic silhouettes come together seamlessly for a strong and striking style.

  1. I really love the blue dress, but I’m hesitant to actually buy it because I don’t want anyone to think I got it because of Kate Middleton. To be honest, I don’t care at all if she wore something similar — I just think it’s pretty! Oh well, it will probably sell out quickly anyway.
