On October 3rd, 2011, Inspirations & Celebrations officially came to life. What started as a dream has since turned into my reality for the past 9 years. If there’s anything that this journey has proven to me, it’s this: If you believe in your dreams, work toward your goals, and have fun along the way – you can do anything!
In honor of my lifestyle blog’s 9th Anniversary, today I’m doing something a little differently. In response to all your requests (via your votes on my Instagram stories yesterday), today’s giveaway is for a $500 Visa Gift Card or Cash (via PayPal). I hear you! From the bottom of my heart, I appreciate you more than you know. Because of your loyal support and engagement, I’ve been able to do what I love for the past 9-years. My lifestyle blog has been more than a hobby-turned-business, a side hustle, or even a passion project. It’s become my happiest way to inspire thousands of you to live your best life, and for that – I’m so grateful.
The mission of my blog has always been “to educate and empower women through inspiration and information”. The winner will receive a $500 Visa Gift Card or Cash (via PayPal) – whichever they prefer.

Wow! $500 right now! OMG that would help so much!! We’ve been saving since the pandemic, but shutdowns and our finances took a big hit on us. My husband’s store was closed, and they sell a lot of football stuff. Since there’s not really “real” football this year, that has made is worse. Plus, throw 3 hurricanes on TOP of that AND a pandemic, and I don’t think we can take much more. We have used our money wisely. So I would LOVE to win this money and treat myself and my hubby! I’d get my hair done, my highlights are looking dull and dim. I’d get my hubby this tool he wants. I was going to get it for him for Xmas, but I’d love to surprise him with a treat! We’ve all just been through SO much this year. My dad has stage 4 terminal lung cancer, and we’ve had to be OVERLY cautious when it comes to COVID. He’s had Paraflu 3 TWICE!! Most people don’t even live through it once! He thought it was coronavirus, but it thankfully was not. But I have had to wear a mask around him for a year now. It does not bother me. I don’t see my comment, from 10-5, so I am going to try again. I would love to win this because i have had a very rough 2019 and 2020. In Sept 2019, I had broken pipes which caused severe mold in my house. My insurance company has refused to honor their policy, canceled me and I am caught between spending close to 100k to remodel my house, totally inside and the crawlspace. I have to pack up everything, move out for 2-3 months. I had no heat last winter and no dryer now. Thus I could really use the money to help with fixing my home. In addition, I have spent over 5k on vet bills since May. So every little bit could help me.

Congratulations on 9 years! The 500$ would go towards household needs and stocking up on things my family needs. This would allow me to use some of the money I had set aside to buy myself a much needed replacement pair of prescription sunglasses. I can’t wear a second set or clip ons over my regular glasses, this triggers migraines for me, so prescription sunglasses are necessary, but they aren’t cheap even with insurance. They aren’t an indulgence, I need them for driving.

Great question. Quite a bit! $500 can sure cover many expenses for my family. It can give us about a good two weeks’ worth of precious groceries. That would sure help us tremendously in these uncertain and challenging times we are going through.
As well, it can provide us with a good launching point for us to refresh our home. We haven’t completed any major work on our house ever since we moved in, which was a long time ago. So $500 could perhaps go towards things like new paint for the home, inside and outside.
In addition, with the holiday season just around the corner, a $500 prize could definitely go towards picking up some gifts for ourselves, as well as our friends and extended family. As $500 is a sizeable amount, some of it could go to charity instead of on gifts. We would just love so much to be able to support causes close to the heart of our family.

I foster puppies and kittens, we had an outbreak of ringworm over the summer so out of caution I had to toss a lot of the toys in our kitten foster room. I would use it to replace some of the toys and cat tree. Stock up on some more medical/food supplies (kitten season was a rough one this year and adoptions slower with Covid, so all the fosters I’ve had this year have been with me longer than usual).

It’s been a little hard with the virus and this time of year it’s never easy to get Christmas present’s for everyone, thing’s seem to be so expensive, at least for the kid’s. Grown-up’s understand.
I would use it to help pay off the vet bills I charged to my credit card when my sweet little rescue Pomeranian got sick a couple of weeks ago. He is much better now and I am so happy!

I’d love to be able to win this giveaway, because this past year has been very emotionally difficult for me personally. First of all, my spouse lost his job 7 months ago back in March due to the pandemic. Then just 2 months later, my old male kitty died on May 7th of kidney failure, less than a month short of his 17th Birthday, and the last hours before his passing were horrible. 🙁 Then, only 2 months later after THAT, my spouse’s oldest female cat also died! She was even trying to walk/crawl over to him in those final few moments before she died, and while this isn’t an easy thing for me to admit, we STILL have not been able to afford to get her cremated yet, as we did for my old boy. So she’s still in a cardboard box in our fridge freezer!
So, as it’s not fair to have her in there, and as she was such an incredibly loyal cat to my spouse in a dog-like sort of way, it’s only right that we use this $500 to have her cremated, and not have to see this box, knowing she’s in our freezer every time we open it. 🙁 And we need the extra room to store frozen food items as well. She had been through a lot in her life and deserves that much.

I don’t see my comment, from 10-5, so I am going to try again. I would love to win this because i have had a very rough 2019 and 2020. In Sept 2019, I had broken pipes which caused severe mold in my house. My insurance company has refused to honor their policy, canceled me and I am caught between spending close to 100k to remodel my house, totally inside and the crawlspace. I have to pack up everything, move out for 2-3 months. I had no heat last winter and no dryer now. Thus I could really use the money to help with fixing my home. In addition, I have spent over 5k on vet bills since May. So every little bit could help me.

I would love to win because winning is FUN!! I also would like to buy my mother a real nice new CD player for Christmas. She is now forced to come out of the cassette era – unit broke = going to CD’s. Living by herself she is missing her music however I am excited for her when she will hear great sound.
I would love to win as many others would as well. I would like to win because for since Sept 2019, my house has been a mess. I had broken pipes and mold and have been fighting with my insurance company for over a year. I cant afford an attorney. This past winter I had no heat except a space heater. I would buy a new set of bedding and curtains for our bedroom. The comforter, shams and curtains we have now have been in use for decades.
I would use the money for rent and bills. I was deemed disabled and cannot work any longer but the government doesn’t give a living wage in disability.

Congratulations on 9 years! The 500$ would go towards household needs and stocking up on things my family needs. This would allow me to use some of the money I had set aside to buy myself a much needed replacement pair of prescription sunglasses. I can’t wear a second set or clip ons over my regular glasses, this triggers migraines for me, so prescription sunglasses are necessary, but they aren’t cheap even with insurance. They aren’t an indulgence, I need them for driving.

Great question. Quite a bit! $500 can sure cover many expenses for my family. It can give us about a good two weeks’ worth of precious groceries. That would sure help us tremendously in these uncertain and challenging times we are going through.
As well, it can provide us with a good launching point for us to refresh our home. We haven’t completed any major work on our house ever since we moved in, which was a long time ago. So $500 could perhaps go towards things like new paint for the home, inside and outside.
In addition, with the holiday season just around the corner, a $500 prize could definitely go towards picking up some gifts for ourselves, as well as our friends and extended family. As $500 is a sizeable amount, some of it could go to charity instead of on gifts. We would just love so much to be able to support causes close to the heart of our family.

I foster puppies and kittens, we had an outbreak of ringworm over the summer so out of caution I had to toss a lot of the toys in our kitten foster room. I would use it to replace some of the toys and cat tree. Stock up on some more medical/food supplies (kitten season was a rough one this year and adoptions slower with Covid, so all the fosters I’ve had this year have been with me longer than usual).

I’d love to be able to win this giveaway, because this past year has been very emotionally difficult for me personally. First of all, my spouse lost his job 7 months ago back in March due to the pandemic. Then just 2 months later, my old male kitty died on May 7th of kidney failure, less than a month short of his 17th Birthday, and the last hours before his passing were horrible. 🙁 Then, only 2 months later after THAT, my spouse’s oldest female cat also died! She was even trying to walk/crawl over to him in those final few moments before she died, and while this isn’t an easy thing for me to admit, we STILL have not been able to afford to get her cremated yet, as we did for my old boy. So she’s still in a cardboard box in our fridge freezer!
So, as it’s not fair to have her in there, and as she was such an incredibly loyal cat to my spouse in a dog-like sort of way, it’s only right that we use this $500 to have her cremated, and not have to see this box, knowing she’s in our freezer every time we open it. 🙁 And we need the extra room to store frozen food items as well. She had been through a lot in her life and deserves that much.
