If you want a lean, fit body with sculpted curves, toned limbs, and overall definition, the Beachbody exercise programs are for you. As seen on TV, here’s the skinny on 3 popular workouts created by the Beachbody team, including P90X, Insanity, and Body Beast.

Beachbody Exercise Programs

Founded in 1998 by Carl Daikeler and Jon Congdon, Beachbody has become a well-known California-based company that has created several of the most popular fitness and weight loss programs sweeping the nation. Their workout programs include P90X®, INSANITY®, Brazil Butt Lift®, Slim in 6®, Turbo Jam®, and Hip Hop Abs® among many others.

Based on the concept that you can create the results you want by putting in the work, the Beachbody exercise programs were designed by fitness experts to whip your body into shape in a short time frame. By focusing on high-intensity fitness training techniques, combined with health supplements and diet plans (that give your body the fuel it needs to burn more calories and build muscle), the Beachbody exercise programs give you the tools you need to get fit, toned, and sculpted.

P90X

P90X® is a complete 90-day home fitness system designed to get you in the best shape of your life. Created by trainer Tony Horton, the program includes 12 intense workouts that use resistance and body-weight training, cardio, plyometrics, ab work, martial arts and yoga, along with a nutrition plan, fitness guide and workout calendar.

The program is based on a series of different workouts, relying on Muscle Confusion techniques to accelerate the results process by constantly introducing new moves and routines so your body never plateaus.

With over 1900 top-rated customer reviews on Amazon, it’s easy to see why P90X has quickly become one of the most popular fitness programs that delivers real results to real people.

This challenging workout program includes a nutrition guide, calendar to track your progress, and 10 intense DVDs for a great workout. Each workout keeps you constantly challenged as you alternate between aerobic and anaerobic intervals performed at your max.

Dropping 55 lbs. in just over 60 days, Lynsee B. (a real Insanity customer) that used this Beachbody exercise program exclaims, “I loved that I could be in my home doing the workout, I didn’t need anything else but my body.”

Body Beast

Built on the concept of Dynamic Set Training, a specific sequence of sets and reps which maximizes muscle’s time under tension with goal of exhausting muscle and “recruiting” more muscle fiber, the Body Beast fitness program sculpts lean muscles in a short time frame. This Beachbody exercise program includes 7 DVDs with 12 workouts, “Book of the Beast” workout and nutrition/supplement guide, and two-sided training schedule.

While Body Beast might sound intimidating to women, it shouldn’t be. One of the real women that have reviewed this fitness program says, “Women should not be afraid to do this, my butt has gotten smaller and tighter, my arms are not so flabby, and I just feel better about myself.”
